Media reviews
“Liszt’s Apres une lecture du Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata (“Dante Sonata”), one of the piano repertoire’s most thunderous and titanic creations... Grynchuk delivered all its glories with sensational technique and fully magnified expression. She is a true Lisztian, and a pianist Adelaide must hear again on future occasions.”
“As the final transcendent note faded away, it took the audience a full ten seconds to return from where they had been transported”
(about Liszt's B minor Sonata)
“Marianna Grynchuk continues her rapid rise through the ranks with a solo recital to launch The Firm’s 2015 season.”
“She has excellent technique and plays with strength, accuracy and authority.”
“Remarkable young piano virtuoso Marianna Grynchuk will bring this rarely locally performed sonata to life...”
“…plays with undeniable skill and impressive talent…. Is riveting to watch.”
